The Times-Picayune Loving Cup

The cup, awarded annually since 1901, recognizes citizens who have worked unselfishly for the community without expectation of public acclaim or material reward. Anyone may be nominated and anyone may nominate.
Nominations should include a brief description of the nominee's activities in civic, social, religious or cultural areas that have contributed to improving life in the New Orleans area. Posthumous nominations are not accepted. The deadline for each years nominations is mid-January of the next year.
